Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

LevyTide manages property information, communication and emergency activity, so use of the platform carries responsibility. This policy applies to every manager and user on an account.

1. Emergency alerts and drills

  • Only trigger a live alert for a genuine emergency or an announced drill.
  • Label scheduled drills clearly so occupants know they are not a real event.
  • Do not use alerts for marketing, notices or general announcements.

2. Resident and property data

  • Collect only the property and resident information needed for legitimate operations.
  • Share resident details only with authorised people who need them for their role.
  • Remove outdated records and honour privacy requests promptly.

3. Messaging and SMS

You are responsible for complying with local messaging rules, including consent and opt-out requirements where they apply. Do not send unsolicited commercial messages through the platform. SMS charges may be passed through to your account.

4. Prohibited activity

  • Unlawful, threatening, discriminatory or harassing content.
  • False emergencies, impersonation or misleading incident records.
  • Probing, scanning, load-testing or attempting to bypass authentication or plan limits.
  • Uploading malware, or reverse engineering, reselling or sublicensing the platform.
  • Sharing accounts or credentials between people.

5. Reporting problems

Report abuse to abuse@levytide.app and suspected security vulnerabilities to security@levytide.app. Please give us a reasonable window to investigate before disclosing an issue publicly, and do not access data that is not yours while testing.

6. Enforcement

We may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate access for breaches of this policy. Where there is an immediate risk to people or to the platform, we may act first and explain afterwards.
